Exchanging Roots and Culture in the Motherland
About this blog
This is my second trip to Afrika. On this trip, I plan to:
study ethnobotany with Frank Cook in the southern region of the continent,
teach permaculture and help with various self-sufficiency projects throught southern and eastern Afrika,
spend quality time in the agroforestry polyculture of the Chagga people on the slopes of Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru,
reunite with friends made on my first trip on the island of Lamu,
and visit various communities in Ethiopia.
