About this blog

On 1 Jan 2009 me and some mates stood at the edge of the Cliffs of Moher in Co. Clare (that's Co. Clare, Ireland for you Americans).

The remainder of 2009 will bring me to far flung places such as Mt Fuji, Bali, The Great Barrier Reef, New Zealand's south island, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the Caribbean, the Big Apple, Boston's Big Dig and good old rainy Seattle (did I mention I lived there) all in valiant attempt to find other corners of the world to match that most beautiful of Irish vistas - the view from Newry's North Street flats.

Join me as I do my best to rough it and keep up with the Gap year booze hounds (or perhaps vice versa) and I'll hopefully have one or two anecdotes to share along the way.
