Take two: A family trip to France - this time on the west coast - the Vendee...

In summer 2005, we spent a wonderful 10 days with the children touring the northern coastal route of France, venturing down into Paris. On the way back to the ferry, we called in to the Boulagne sur Mer military cemetary to pay our respects, and after 15 minutes we returned to find someone had broke into our vehicle and stolen all our camera equipment!! Bang went the photos of our great holiday, the kids at Disneyland, and Lance Armstrong's final Tour de France... (we'd spent the day being squashed on the Champs Elyses to catch a glimpse of Huw's sporting icon of all times.)

Not to worry - we'd learnt a valuable lesson - and a renewed respect for our precious family photo opportunities.... 2006: France here we come!
