Alaska Adventures Summer 2009

Hands down, this was THE summer to be in Alaska! The weather was gorgeous and even downright hot at times. Every summer is busy for Alaskans. They are running around the state fishing, hiking, kayaking, and entertaining out-of-state guests. And after living here for one year we established ourselves as Alaska residents and got busy with everyone else. We got our cheap residents fishing and dip-netting licenses and filled our freezer with salmon and halibut. We hiked in the Chugach and the Talkeetnas, kayaked in Prince William sound, entertained our first wave of visitors and bought our first house! Now we're ready for hybernation!
