I have taken a year out from work and am travelling for 8 months.

Firstly I am going to Cape Town for one month. I am doing a 3 week voluntary placement in a school in Hout Bay and then having 1 week to myself to explore.

Then I'm off to Toronto and making my own way across Canada and into the USA where I will be joining a tour of the National Parks and Monument Valley. This trip starts in San Francisco and finishes in Las Vegas. Then I will be visiting a friend in Albuquerque before heading off to Peru for a month tour incorporating trekking the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu.

Then if I survive that trek and still have any money I'm travelling to New Zealand!! I've got just under 3 months there on a hiking/biking tour taking in both islands with opportunities for me to hop off and self explore all what New Zealand has to offer - can't wait!!.
