Toronto to Texas - one way
About this blog
July 2008 we made the trip from Texas to Toronto. My daughter was traveling up to Toronto to attend Schulich Business School at York University for an MBA. As there were parts of the U.S. she hadn't seen, she wanted to go the long way so we headed towards the east coast and went up the coast until we reached New York then headed back inland to Toronto. That trip did not go as planned as we were traveling with three cats and it was so hot that places we had planned to visit had to be skipped because we could not safely leave the cats. In fact, it was often almost too hot to turn off the air conditioner to get gas. We did stay more than one night in some places and did get to see things then so it wasn't a total loss. Time has passed and we are about to do the trip in reverse. THIS time we are going almost direct. We have to make a stop in Buffalo with the movers to drop off and pick up things from my storage units, we have to make a stop in Cloverdale, Indiana to pick up a motorcycle I bought from my brother but that is it. Otherwise it is drive as fast as we legally can to make it to Texas - with three cats.
