About this blog

This travel blog covers our "Grand Adventure". We have decided to see everything we have flown over, but never seen from ground level in our lifetimes. My July 1st retirement, after 47 years of "slugging rats in factories" allows us the time to see more of this land we love. We are going through St.Louis to Denver, Mt. Rushmore, Yellowstone, Banff & Lake Louise, Glacier National Park, and Vancouver. We then come home down the California coast highway to San Francisco, Yosemite, Vegas, the Grand Canyon, and San Antonio. On the way we will visit my brother Rick in Eagle, Idaho, my brother John in San Antonio, and an old college friend, (the best man in our wedding), in northern california.
