About this blog

Well, due to the title of this blog you may be thinking that Gloria is a sweet Mexican girl that we have met along the way, but you are mistaken. Gloria is actually a very sweet German who drinks gasoline and releases some fairly pungent odours... our 1981 VW camperized Westfalia and although she is an integral part of the trip I believe I have said enough about her.

The trip basically consists of Tyler Lovoie, Daniel Contumelias and I (Joshua Heisler) trying to drive from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada to Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Some may think this a difficult undertaking (foolish, impossible have been some of the other ajectives used), but we are looking forward to the challenge. Check the blog to see how it goes.
