Hello friends and family, Bags packed, car sold, and house is occupied, we are ready to travel. This adventure has been four years in the planning with our self-funded x/y prepaid leave.

New Zealand is our main destination to spend time with family and friends. On the way over in July and August 2006 we will visit Egypt's Cairo, Luxor, Asswan, and the Sinai peninsula; China, visiting Beijing, Xian and Shanghai; Singapore with a trip up to Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur; and Brisbane, Australia.

When we leave NZ we head to Hawaii and then Los Angeles before arriving back in Ottawa at the end of June 2007.
