I have wanted to visit New England in the fall since I was a small girl... don't remember why. After Don's retirement party, we departed for the Northeast. I had always wondered how, when Iowa has such beautiful fall colors, theirs could be 'so much better.' Don and I have decided that it is a combination of the number of maple trees and the Appalachian's hills in the background. I could return to the Northeast in Autumn for the rest of my years!
