About this blog
The perfect time. Spring! Best spent in the south with dogwood trees in bloom. And yes, before it gets too hot to breathe. And this -- the Conference on Southern Literature, in Chattanooga, every other year. But first, to Alabama, visit brother, Dad, and step-mom Opal for a while. Then to the Conference and after that, a visit with my friends I haven't seen in such a long, long while! Palm Sunday church, First-Centenary. See Nancy, Betty, Ed and Dalton too. Breakfast at Karls! A Kopper Kettle lunch. What has happened, what is new? My birthday, celebrate it here. Then north, the Shenandoah Drive, to Charlottesville, and Washington DC. Easter at the National Cathedral, I have my pass. National Geographic? A Cherry Blossom tour? You bet.
