This area of the world has some of the most dramatic and unspoiled landscapes on Earth. We discovered the icy splendor of Perito Moreno Glacier and encountered fleet-footed nandu and majestic condors while at Torres del Paine National Park. We cruised for four nights aboard the Via Australis through the Strait of Magellan and Beagle Channel to Tierra del Fuego, the mystical "Land of Fire," while stepping ashore at the fabled Cape Horn where the mighty Pacific and Atlantic oceans meet. We followed in the footsteps of Ferdinand Magellan and Sir Francis Drake on a spell binding journey through pristine wilderness at the end of the earth.

And it all began in Buenos Aires....
