Trading Places: Living the Dream in Europe

The decision was a long time in the making, but then swapping the comforts of home for a life overseas isn't an easy one to make. Seven weeks of european adventures was a much easier one and forced my hand to say goodbye to Perth and take in what else was outside my little, isolated but perfect home... Adios Perth City!
I still remember booking the flights, sharing a bottle of bacardi, a few cheeky smokes and a laptop with my best mate Frankie as he worked his magic locking me in for the trip of a lifetime. He had been making the best routes since 2006.
With flights locked in... a few hotels booked (one thing that i would have changed - dont meet any cool people in a 3 star hotel and i still think they are among the most depressing places in the world for a single traveler!)... Then i was ready to 'do the Europe Thing', as so many travelers before had loved to tell others...
If i could have imagined then the stories id have to tell, the friends i would meet along the way and how much i would live the abolute sh*t out of life abroad.... i would have booked my flights much earlier!
