Moving from Tucson Arizona to Hyattsville Maryland

I am traveling to Hyattsville MD to attend graduate school at the University if Maryland in the fall. I am taking all of my stuff and an orange cat (hunter) who hates cars. I need places to crash as I'm trying to do this on the cheap so if you are on the way send me an e-mail if you have a couch for me and the cat (who may or may not meow alot and scratch furniture).
