About this blog
Sub-saharan Africa remains one of the least understood and least developed parts of the world. And as the least understood and least developed person of anyone I know, I've come here to Rwanda deep in the heart of East Africa on a 6 month CIDA-sponsored internship to work for the Aid Coordination Unit of the United Nations Development Programme. Read on about the hardship life i'm living - alone with my cleaning staff, cook, security guard and driver. Join me for harrowing adventures in office buildings and at expansive private residences. Feel the real African flavour with stories of presidential encounters and thai chicken curry dinners. You too will know what life in Africa is like- as an expatriate Junior Professional Consultant.
