We are Ralph and Helen Higgs, (occasionally) proud owners of a Mazda Bongo.

For the fifth year running we are piling onto a ferry and hitting the roads of Europe. Don't know where yet, but we rarely do.

The plan is to stay in France this year, where we think the campsites are the best. We've done Spain at least 3 times, and Italy is temptingly close, so watch this space.

We are writing this blog for the benefit of friends, family, fellow Bongoliers and anyone who wonders what it's like to travel aimlessly.

We are hoping to take a laptop and post everyday, but we feel like we've sold out. Once we wild camped,then we started paying for pitches, now we'll have to pay for electric as well.

Still, it saves on postcards ..
