About this blog

Having just graduated from the University of Virginia and not really ready to settle down or get a "real job", I have decided that the only thing for me to do is travel around the world. I don't know how far I'll get or where I'll end up, but that really isn't important right now. I see this as a journey of discovery and understanding, of connections being made. I will follow the travel paths of my Father in the Peace Corp, my Mother on her own self discovery trip, and my Grandfather's escape from Russia. Weaving together their past with my present, I will create a new journey, making my own footprints in the sand...
