About this blog

After 8 years of non-stop working and the fear of working for a bigger cheese for the rest of our lives, we have decided to jack the jobs in for a 6 month around-the-world adventure. We are both accountants, Martyn is the touchy feely one and Claire the proper one - I know you can just imagine the mischief already!! Martyn has never spent more than 2 consecutive weeks in a foreign land since birth and Claire's foray into "working abroad" lasted as long as her car battery! This is going to be interesting! We're sure that our shared passion for travelling will pull us through.

The itinerary is sketchy at best but generally takes in a 4.5k trans-America road trip, getting down to nature in New Zealand in the confines of a two bunk camper, stopping off to tick off the Opera House in Sydney before embarking on three month tour of South East Asia.

We do hope that our friends and family will keep up with us by following our blog. We'll do our best to upload photos so please check in on us from time to time and send us a message...
