Mom's Dream Vacation to Hawaii

Chris's mother (Mom) has had a lifelong dream of visiting Hawaii. Unfortunately, as a single mother of 6 children, it was never something she could afford to do when she was younger, so she had to settle for shorter trips around the continental US in later years after the kids were grown up and out on their own.
This year on May 1st Mom will be celebrating her 74th birthday. Since our 10th wedding anniversary is coming up in August, Chris and I decided to kill two birds with one stone.
So I sold a few stock options and voila! - off we are on a 5 day trip to Waikiki for the 3 of us. Mom is beside herself, of course - her bags have been packed for a month!
