On July 7, I embark on a trip for the West in which I hope to see the wonders of America. Part of this journey is a month-long NOLS backpacking trip with a few other people, where we'll be hiking the Absaroka Mountains east of Yellowstone with nothing but the stuff on our backs. The other part is pure exploration with no true time limit.
