Crossing Oklahoma off the List
About this blog
Reflecting on my quest to conquer all 50 of the United States, I found it absurd that I had not yet been to Oklahoma, despite its location immediately southeast of Colorado. The plan was to go camping on the New Mexico borderline, hang out in Texas on Saturday, then come back to Colorado, passing through Oklahoma's panhandle en route. After my friend Tom backed out of the deal for military reasons, I called a buddy of mine who just moved into town with his wife to invite him to join me. A few texts later, and some frantic packing during lunch at work, we were off.
