Hi everybody!

I'm creating this blog to document and share our adventures with our friends and family back home. We left 15 Sep for 2 months in Japan, where Bernd is spending his sabbatical at KEK in Tsukuba north of Tokyo.

Beginning mid-Nov, we will be traveling to Vietnam, Cambodia, Bhutan, and Thailand. (Note: I've decided to start a new travelog for that portion of the trip, as this one is getting long.) It will be more difficult to post photos during that portion of the trip, but we will post them while in Japan.
