A late night, right before I fell asleep, my phone rang. It was Birgitte, my brothers girlfriend, asking me to go on a holiday with him! Usually this would seem as an odd request, however this didn't come as a surprise. My brother was in desperate need of a holiday, and so was I.

Excitement soon turned to realization, and within 24 hours the trip was paid for! No time for second thoughts. I soon realized that the two recent refresher dives I had had, wouldn't be sufficient for this trip, but armed with a couple of of scuba diving books and the PADI learner book I felt more confident. This would be an adventurously exciting and educational holiday.
