About this blog

This was a family outing planned simply to sample an ASEAN experience, going somewhere new but still feeling homely enough. So we decided to sample the western part of Sumatra, indonesia with its capital Padang as well as its highlands, Bukit Tinggi. It's the place of the Minangkabau, an indigenous group of people with special customs, language who has a sizeable presents in Malaysia. So lets journey to a new place, sample new things and experience its charm.
