About this blog

The idea for this epic adventure all originated about 5 years ago in Italy. I met my friend Tomas during a year studying abroad. We always talked about me joining him in a trip to Mexico. Since then, we've only talked about it and every year there has been a schedule conflict. Finally this year, the year of the endless summer, I have been able to have the financial ability and time to go with him. I was really excited. This was going to be real, not baja, mexico aka United States on Mexican land, but real Mexico.
