This is my seventh trip to Japan. The biggest difference for this trip is that I am going to meet family i have never met before. My father's family immigrated from Tabuse near Yamaguchi Ken to Hawaii over a hundred years ago and through generations our connection to Japan slowly grew more distant. My family wanted to keep this relationship going for all of us, so my father, mother, brother, and I organized this trip to visit our distant family as well as my mother's family.
