Welcome to our travel blog of our round the world trip in 101 days.

Around Tess' 30th bday last year, contemplating life, as you do when you hit 30, it came up that we needed more travel.

Initially 6 months was tabled, but it was soon, sadly as life goes, rationalised down to 3 months.

We wrote all the places we would like to visit on this trip down and started investigating how to get to them.

After some investigation we found that a One World Alliance round the world ticket allowed us to visit almost all places we had listed with minimal extra flights.

So here we are over a year later, having planned, replanned, got the visa's, booked flights, and accommodation ready to head off - excited as hell!
