Some Nobby facts Name: Nolberto Solano DOB: 12/12/1974 POB: Lima, Peru Club: Newcastle United Popular & gifted former Peru international midfielder re-signed in Aug 2005. Scored his first goal since his return in the 1-0 win over Arsenal. Solano brings an added dimension to any attack with his delivery from the right & accuracy from set pieces. Came to prominence after impressing with Argentine giants Boca Juniors where he was heralded by their former star Diego Maradona.
