Napa - Spirit and romance
About this blog
If it were not for the last minute, I would never get anything done. Just back from a very hectic trip to India, the baggage still not back (lost in Heathrow), sitting jet-lagged on a rainy Thursday evening, what's a good thing to do? Got it! Book a trip to Napa, leaving Friday afternoon. No time to think, no need to plan, it was going to be the two of us a car and a camera (and a GPS).
The flights were into San Francisco and the hotel was a beautiful Hilton resort. We totally loved the way it felt like being in a sparsely populated, picturesque hill station. The plan was that there was no plan. Everyday we'd start out with the GPS, figure out the vineyards and follow the gut, and that's what we did, in beautiful wine country over the next two and a half days.
