I am about to attempt to cycle 4,500 miles across the US for the second time. The trip will be a tough challenge as I know what to expect and unfortunately am 5yrs older, heavier and less fit. However, I am looking forward to completing the trip & the very rose tinted memories that will block out the hardships of the coming weeks!

Many of you have asked if I am raising money for charity, and I am doing so for Leukaemia Research. Though my father passed away due to this disease it was the realisation that it is the biggest killer of people under 30 that made it a cause that I wanted to support, because though all death is sad, it seems to me that a young persons passing is truly tragic. So a big thank you to those of you who feel inclined to sponsor this madness and especially if it is for a pound a mile!
