I was very kindly picked up from the Hotel, by a very apologetic Swede, who was embarrassed by the terrible weather that I was seeing. I thought that it was always like this, but didn't dare say a word. We rode out to the airport. I was hoping for a view of the countryside after a two days cramped into the city. The Fates thought otherwise, and sent a fog to cover the view. I was barely able to see more than 100m away for the entire journey...come to think of it....for the entire day.
They, like the Danes, and the Canadians, serve their staff free, quality coffee. Everyone at Sturup, the centre for SATSA, was very warm and took time to make their short presentations meaningful to me. There was a lot of information about Swedish training in general but little on my area of interest. I hope that I will gain some more insight tomorrow.
the Swedes, obviously love children...the kids are all dressed in the warmest clothes and riding out with their parents in prams of every size and shape.
