Yesterday was awesome. Finally, I had my sleepover with my best friend Matthew. First my sister and I got shots for the trip at our doctor's office. Neither one of us cried but it did hurt a lot. Today we both got another one for typhoid at another office and my dad got two shots. None of us cried today either. My arms are really sore now. We also got lots of pills for malaria and altitude sickness and fungus.

But in between the shots, I had a great time with Matthew. We met Matt and his mom at Mike's Ice Cream Parlour for lunch then we went to Game Stop and his mom got me an Action Replay as a going away gift. We went back to Matthew's and played his Indiana Jones game and went swimming for a long time. When his dad got home, we had dinner and went to see "Journey to the Center of the Earth" which was 3D so it looked like it was really spinning on you. I am glad I not going to the center of the earth on this trip. Matt fell asleep at 10:00PM and I kept reading until 1:00AM.

This morning we played Wii until he left for camp. I felt sad and a little bit mad. His mom said he might meet us to see the polar bears. I hope so!

Now we are on our way to Maine to see my cousins Andrew and Nic. I also traded emails with two kids who are also traveling around the world. I hope I get to meet them cause I still have not met anyone else my age who is doing this.
