Today was the last day of camp. It was very sad because I am not going to see most of my friends until next summer. But it was also fun because every year on the last day of camp we have water wars. Basically, everyone throws water at each other with balloons, water squirters, buckets, cups, and everyone gets really wet but no one gets mad. Even the counselors play! You also get an ice cream sundae on the last day of camp. It is great.

We also had our last baseball game this afternoon. My dad and Wyatt's parents organized teams this year. There were two teams - Beaverkill Bearcats and Shin Creek Slammers. I was on the Bearcats. We play at the Fire Station field right next to the firehouse, which is cool. My godfather Hubert sent me a Flip Video so I can put videos on my blog. (Thanks Uncle Hubert!) When I figure it out, I will put a video on here that my mom took of the last baseball game.

After the game, I went to the pub, which is a restuarant with a playground and big field in the back next to the river. It also has a pool table and a Pac Man game, and a TV. They have great pasta and other food for kids. Last night, the kids played Sand Castle wars in the playground and a long game of tag. It is great because kids of all ages play, even when we play Sharks and Minnows. I will miss the pub and camp a lot. I wonder what kind of food I will eat in the different places we go and who I will play with. I know that at least n tow places some of my friends from camp are going to meet us. Megan and Amy are going to be in Barcelona with us for two days in August. It will be Megan's birthday and we heard that Barcelona has great hot chocolate, so we may go test hot chocolate places together. And Gaby, Rachel, and Alex are going to stay with us for a week or so in Cape Town. But we will have to see who I meet in other places.

Tomorrow we are going on a hike to the fire tower with some friends, then we will play in the river and catch frogs in my pond. Tomorrow night my dad is playing in a band with some other dads at the Inn. None of them have ever played together before so we are not sure how they will sound. Then on Sunday we go down to New York to see friends and doctors and get our shots, before heading to Maine to see my cousins and go to a Red Sox game. In less than two weeks, we will leave the US to start our trip for real.
