I haven't been eating properly for two days and I woke up with a big fat smile on my face this morning.
Fasting has interesting effects on your body.
I'm surprisingly energetic and extremely happy - almost cheerful.
James, who does the Yoga Fasting program with me, says I'm frightening cause he feels like shit, while I'm bouncing around like a fortune cookie.
I feel as if I was on drugs, I reckon the low blood sugar has already effected my brain ;-)
The Yoga sessions, however, are pretty demanding and so is the daily hiking tour and by now almost everything we do in this Yoga boot camp. Even meditation becomes more challenging with an empty stomach cause you can't focus when your stomach is growling.
Today is day 2 of my four day fasting and cleansing process.
3 apples and honey-lemon water on the first two days.
No apples on day three and on the last day: gastro-intestinal cleansing.
I wonder how happy I will be after spending a day on the toilet ;-)
