Sorry its taken me so long to do this, everything is going well here - the area that i'm living in is really beautiful although its in the middle of nowhere! There is acres of woodland and countryside surrounding us so wildlife is abundant - deers, turkeys, racoons, porcupines and even the occasional bear! The local town is about a 20 minute drive away and has plently of fast food restaurants, library, a couple of bars :-) and of course a Wal Mart.
The first few weeks were busy with wilderness first aid and lifeguard training and now were on our second week of campers. I have been busy pitching tents, learning that almost anything can be cooked over a fire and singing lots of songs.
Time off is really good so have managed to spend a weekend in Michigan recently and dipped my toes in Lake Superior ( photos will be up shortly- the internet is too slow here to upload them!). Also we have a week off over 4th July so I'm heading to Chicago for a few days to see the sights and possibly see Stevie Wonder too!!!!
Sure I will have lots to update you with after Chicago, hope everyone is well.
