12:27 I slept long last night, and woke with a heavy heart, there is nothing that can be done. My legs ache too much today to ski but I won't remain indoors, the sun is out, I am in some beautiful landscape and there is much to see and reflect on. I took the bus to courcheval and went up the highest mountain here to soak up the worlds views. It's so clear I feel I can see as far as is possible to see.

As you can see from the pictures you can see a loooong way, it's just incredible.

had lunch with sarah then returned to the chalet by about 4pm, for tea, cake and chat.

Lucky old you away up a mountain., and with sun too! Michael and I had a week in Wengen (Switzerland) a few weeks ago - fab. As you say, that clear mountain air is so exhilirating, the views to die for and the well earned repast at the end of the day so satisfying.
