I had a walk, then watched Shelley take her first diving steps in the pool. She found this quite a challenge, morseso than the others, but then I discovered she only learnt to swim in the last year so she did well, overcame the challenges and I expect felt a great sense of achievement.
It seems that the padi course throws so much theory and class work at you before you even get to wear the gear or try it under water, I'm glad I learnt the way I did which was no theory, get everything on, get in the water and give it a go! Let the fun begin immediately!
After her long day we went for some dinner with a film in one of the many restaurants here - lots of them have a projector and show a film at 730, so we giggled away to "bridesmaids", thankfully without the awful nonsensical English subtitles. Then in bed by 10!
