18:43 Nothing to report today, I walked on the black beach, swam in the sea, lay under the shade of a tree reading and glancing out at the view- the boats all on shore with their bamboo stabilisers, the air above the beach shimmering from the scorching heat, the waves gently lapping on the sand.
 
The odd seller came by with fruit, sarongs and bracelets but I plead poverty these days, now that I'm in the final months I'm a lot less blaze about what I spend.
I had a late lunch in a cheap nook - chicken satay and rice with a bottle of water. I wandered around with no purpose and finally ended the daylight hours watching the sun go down behind a volcanic mountain across the sea, then watching the colours of the sky transforming even after the sun had gone. I don't think there is anything in this world as beautiful as a good sunset.

Best: relaxing with nothing on my mind
Worst: really nothing
Beautiful: sunset without a doubt.

PS - its really hard choosing from sunset photos! I hope these are a good selection even if a little samey
