11:52 I've just woken up, it's nearly midday. I've slept for nearly 12 hours and am seriously debating not going anywhere today and just resting instead of pushing and pushing to do it all. Perhaps just having a day to rest and really think about the rest of my time here will be best and then tomorrow I might have more energy and clarity on what I'm doing.
Liz is right, this isn't a holiday, it's travelling, and its hard work, and you need a 'weekend' to just chill. I feel I need a Saturday today to recover the strength in my legs as well as my energy.
So, now I've decided it's saturday and I'm going to look after myself...I'm going to run myself a hot bath :).

13:36 Took clothes to laundry 50 on washing powder. 250 for washing. Ahhh Clean clothes...brilliant.

15:10 With my laundry attended to and having had some pot noodles and coke for lunch, I sit down to watch a film 'Letters from Iwo Jima' a war film based in the Japanese islands. Legs feeling better already

I have noticed that japanese language is easier to listen to and speak than Chinese, the words sound more defined somehow, whereas Chinese seems more of a continuous flow of sounds without separate words. I have no idea if that makes sense!

18:20 Started talking to a new girl here -Bliss, it looks 99% likely that we will be taking the next 2 weeks together. Cool, a travel buddy!!

midnight....I'm off to bed.

Apologies for the poor quality of this post, I literally did not a lot today. It was rather nice!! And I will refrain from bests and worsts on this occasion.

Normal service resumes tomorrow. Big day planned!
