With 'the girls'

So today the Girls, Ricco (dog), and I drove 50 km to Bled, one of Slovenia's most beautiful lake. I swear I've seen more clear water during this trip than my whole life put together and today was no different. I took a nice little row boat out to Bled Island home of the Church of Mary the Queen. The short trip provided a beautiful view of Bled's castle (it seems everywhere in slovenia has a castle) perched a top a giant cliff.

We then went to the Bohinj  region and took a tram up to the top of a ski resort called Vogel. We got a great view of the Julian alps and we were able to see the tallest mountain in Slovenia called Triglav. We had tea at the top in the refreshing mountain air.

We drove a bit further and I hiked up to the Savica Waterfall which was no Victoria Falls but was beautiful in its own right.
