What a crazy weekend.
Saturday, February 26th
Did some more shopping with Hui Joeng to get some food and a little dresser. Afterward, Jenny and I wandered around our little city...I love it here. Its the perfect size, I will have to take pictures later.

Sunday, February 27th
Man, my weekend just went by so fast I can barely remember anything. Went out with jenny again and we met up with Jessica, Nick, Tim, Lynn and a few people that have been here for a year. We went bowling (I bowled a 116 for the second game!) and saw I am Number Four. Great movie by the way. Highly recommend it.

Monday, February 28th
Hui Joeng picked me up at 10am and took me to my new school!!! I can't believe there are 500 kids in there, the buildings look so small! I met my principal and smiled and attempting to pick up what my co-teacher, vice principal and principal were talking about. Alas, I heard rice, hello, my name and thats about it. lol. After meeting my principal, Hui Joeng showed me around the school and I took home some of the textbooks to look over. She dropped me off around 1230pm and then I met up with Jenny. We wandered around looking for her bus stop.
At 5pm, Gloria picked me up and we went to the new pasta place by the train station. We had bacon spaghetti and sweet potato bacon pizza. They were soooo good!!! And cheap ^^ She then showed me the train station and told me how to get a ticket. We walked the market and I bought slippers for school. During this time we talked about our families, school and education. I think we are going to try to meet up once a week, I'm so excited that I made another friend here.
After getting back, I talked to my sister Jess that is currently in Australia. She asked if my face was hurting because she hasn't seen me smile so much in a long time...if at all. I laughed and said a little.
At 9, Jenny and I met up with Nick and Jessica at the train station. We then headed over to a bar/cafe thing and met up with 18 other EPIK teachers that are in the area. I couldn't believe how many of us there were! I thought there would only be 10 at the most. The majority of them have been here for at least a year. Oh! I also met someone else that is from Buffalo, NY! They ordered Kiwi Sojo and added even more sojo to it, which I realized after I took a gulp...ick. Lol. Drank half of it then was given the initiation drink (beer with coke at the bottom of a shot glass). That did it for me. Jenny and I left shortly after, and that was fun walking back being a little tipsy/light headed. I ended up talking in a British accent for most of the night. We had left over pizza and watch a bit of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Later that night, I helped Chris with his powerpoint presentation and was up until about 3am talking to him.
Woke up about 1030 to Jenny at my door. We opted not to join the rest of the gang for the trip to Gumi and stayed behind. She was also not feeling well. I made her breakfast and a few hours later we went and bought ingredients for lunch. Turned out alright, needed something else in it though. Now, I have to work on my introduction powerpoint and make a video of my apartment.
And with that I believe you all are basically up-to-date :D
