Tomorrow on May 5th of 2011 there is going to be seven years since my arrival here in Bytom - Poland,the place of my birth.
Why did I have to go through this craziness ?
During this seven years I have been harassed,discriminated against,called all kinds of very ugly names. I have been jumped by crazy individual with knife,managed to run away from him. When I turned to local Police they decided that I'm alive,so nothing happen. Than cleaning woman jumped me and beat me up. Police decided again that nothing happen.
Regardless of the fact that I have been born here I don't belong any more to this society.
I'm American,so they decided that I'm a bitch !
How much help did I get from my fellow Americans ?
None !
When I went to American Consulate in Krakow they were too busy to discuss my situation here in Poland but they were not too busy to flirt with few young girls,who came there at the same time. Women employees had a very particular pleasure in talking down to me and treating me and my mother with disrespect. They would even make unpleasant comments about me being blond.
After my visit to Krakow and after not being able to discuss anything with employees of Consulate I tried to call there on many occasions and just ask some questions about very important to me issues but they would eighter hung up on me or start an argument right away.
Until today I can't find just one person there who would be willing to do what they should do.
What is the problem ?
Where should I move ?
Any suggestions ?
