So this will be a short entry due to a very slow internet connection.  We made it our goal of 600 miles plus.  We would have gone further but we are in country where the gas stations close at night and there are no pay at the pump pumps :-) 


Today we saw a black bear by the road eating and it was HUGE!  Just eating down in a ditch.  Also saw a heard of buffalo.  The scenery changed from fields to fir and pine very short and stubby due to the mountainous terrain.  We are now in the Northern Rockies!  There is a lot of road and very little people/settlements.  It is very nice. 

Hopefully my next post will be in Alaska!!
