We decided to spend a day in Rissani and checkout the kasbahs and palmeries. The Rissanians turned out to be really nice, we got out hotel room for half-price and the guys that worked there insisted we accept an invitation for dinner. According to Katie the whole evening was one hillarious steryotype after another. We started off the evening watching al Jazeera on the big screen TV with all the guys drinking tea in the hotel lobby. Then we were taken downstairs to a lavish salon for dinner. After which we lounged around on the pillows and chatted--just us and a handfull of Moroccan guys who then brought out a hookah. It was all pretty typical actually (accept for the hookah part) but Katie thought it was really funny--like something out of a bad movie.
