The 20 hour bus journey wasn´t so bad, though I think that I only slept for a max of 2 hours. They put on The Last Samurai in Spanish, with spanish subtitles, so at least I could follow it, at least when the dvd didn´t skip. This time I was travelling standard (Semi-Cama) so it was less comfortable than my last trip. My companions for this leg are Laura, from Barcelona, who doesn´t speak english, and Katrina from Belgium.
The plan was to get to Rio Gallegas where we could buy a ticket to Ushuaia (you can´t buy direct). Unfortunately, our bus arrived in Rio Gallegas at 11am, 2 hours after the last bus to Ushuaia leaves.
So here we are, stuck in Rio Gallegas for nearly 24 hours. We´ve decided to sleep at the bus station tonight, so will be a right state tomorrow and even more tired. If we´re up for it later, we´ll probably go out for a few beers to pass some time.
Doesn´t seem to be much here otherwise.....
