Day 2 - Let's go exploring! After a substantial breakfast, we took the bus into Narita to visit the temple which is in the park which has a lake full of carp. Steven seemed to enjoy it especially climbing the steps which wore him out and tantrums were just about non-existant - hoorah! Our visit seemed to coincide with a chrysanthemum exhibition where amazing things were done to make shapes as well as just displaying some spectacular blooms. We have all felt a bit queasy today but have put it down to the change in diet and water. Yvonne had some delicious vegetable tempura, which included pumpkin and a type of sweet potato that tasted like sweet chestnuts, with really light yummy batter and Steven had a sweet rice cracker on a stick, like a lollipop. D was pleased to find grape flavoured Fanta.
The plan for tomorrow is to head to Tokyo on the train, so there may not be entries for a few days, depending on internet availability Onwards!

Day 2
Hi there again - loved the latest photos and video.
Wow!! I've been drooling all over the computer - thinking about that tempura - I love it and always have it when in Peachland at the Chinese Laundry Restaurant!! Enjoy the trip to Tokyo and don't forget my postcard from Japan for my collection.
