We awoke early after a good night sleep and walked off to get our bikes. Mine only had 100km and ran sweet. We rode to the ticket office and booked our flights to Bali for noon then next day.

We found a map and rode off in search of the waterfalls a couple of hours away. We rode through some broken glass and Marc ended up with a flat. We found a spot nearby where the locals were more than happy to help. In the end a new tube was $4, to replace the tube in rear tire was $1 only. Man the mechanics in Ottawa charge way way too much.

We rode to find the petrified wood forest through an amazing winding rose and found the stumps that were turned to stone from lava. One of the locals cleared the brush with his machete and I gave him 3000 for the help, he had the widest smile and was so happy, to me this was just 30 cents. It looked like rain so we headed back into town for lunch and then head to some caves. The limestone caves were very nice and had bats sweep inside overhead. Also saw a very very large spider on the wall...the kind we were told I not touch, so I didn't touch.

We rode back into town, dropped off the bikes and went for a bite to eat. We wanted to get a good nights sleep so we picked up some drinks for the hotel and headed in. At the hotel I got a last swim in and then chilled out on the front steps of our rooms. After we retired to our rooms I heard Marc telling me to come out. I saw him struggling with a gecko trying to shoo it away from his room. This is one o the two geckos that had been keeping him awake. It was very reluctant to leave and was acting aggressive...still cute as hell to me.
