It was brilliant to be on the road again, in charge of where, when and which direction.  Dave was simply glowing as the repairs had come in well under budget which meant that Disneyland was back on the cards again.

The budget has been something that has caused Dave soooo much stress over the course of the last 10 months but it has become a personal challenge to try and make each week come in at or under budget.  I personally have become the queen of tinned tuna and the combinations with tomato and cheese!!! Free camping has made this year so much more affordable and the last 3 weeks of free camping for nothing (ok not counting the cost of repairs) was really good.  We have been very thrifty and so all our plans for working along the way havent been needed as we have thoroughly enjoyed the freedom to do it all but do it cheaply!

Although we have commented more than once or twice that if we were to come back again when the kids are older and do this again we would like to do some 'Woofing' (where you work for your food and board as there are some amazing opportunities out there all over Europe!! We loved the idea where you not only get your food and board but you meet interesting people and gain new experiences. Oh the ideas how the do percolate where anything seems possible.

Needless to say with the new budget revised we were looking forward to suprising the kids with Disneyland.  We hadnt mentioned it to the kids that it was a possibility let all alone that a French Disneyland existed as we didnt want to disappoint them or raise their hopes let alone their expectations.  This year they have been soo good at taking it on the chin that there are things that we can afford and that there are things that we cant afford.  Tom has become the master of saying"hmmm thats too expensive" where as Leah is the master of "hmmmm maybe if I did some busking...." and Harry is the master of "I want chocolate!!".  So we were personally very excited that we could now offer this opportunity to them, ok and to us we were very excited about the idea as well.

So with all this good feeling bubbling around inside Big bertha we were not only glad to be back on the road but grateful for the time we had been able to spend in Visegrad. It was however back to parking in the car parks that they call aires, although after living in a garage for the past 3 weeks this was easy!!
