It's especially hard to find accommodations in Turkey during August. Everything is way overpriced and completely full. And yet, here in Fethiye, there is a dilapidated hotel right next to the bazaar with really clean rooms for only 20 TL (single). For comparison, the next cheapest thing I found here was 50 TL far from the center.
It's called FUNYA Hotel and it's right next to the bazaar facing the harbor (near the four palm trees circle).
The owner, Sarda, has a stern appearance, but is actually very nice.
