Jesse says:

I am having fun and it is exciting to meet the other other staff and to learn a bit of Spanish! I am healthy and I took my malaria pills- that's for you mom even though I haven't seen a single mosquito yet!

Monica says:

Hola!!!! I'm alive and well, I am having lots of fun. The Kids Games are really fun and entertaining. Today I was able to go all day without a nap! And I actually feel awake and alert. I am spending lots of time with a girl named Fio. She is lots of fun to be around and is planning to teach me how to cook some Tipically Tico plates as well as some other things. Today we went to "Torch Bearers" (Capenwray) and found the place to be really interesting. Now we are planning to go swimming. Everybody is fun to be around here is fun to be around. Hope everybody out there is doing well. Mom- I took my malaria pills too!!!

Buenos Noches! Philemon here! My name in Spanish is pretty much the same as in English but with a Spanish accent. I'm having a great time here in Costa Rica! The climate and weather has been really nice and it's been so awesome meeting the all local people here. My Spanish is progressing pretty well but I wish I had learned a bit more Spanish before this trip. I'm so glad there are a several leaders and kids in my group that speak English fluently.

The guys are having a towel fight as I'm typing now.

Today for Kids Games we had swimming as the theme sport. We did some water games with the kids and most of us got wet. One of the kids caught a gecko which was pretty cool.

And to close, here's the verse of the day that perfectly compliments the Costa Rican scenery… "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." —Psalm 19:1

A word from my friend Ale:
Hi all the people I am having a great time with my new friends and we joke all the time. I don't know what else I can write here but it's all right. We enjoyed this camp a lot. Buenas Noches people! Los queremos demasiado......

Brian says:

To go along with what we were talking about today,
A true friend will not bail you out of jail, they will be in there with you wondering what happened and how we are going to get out of here.

Laurel and Evalette are doing well and are adjusting just fine. Evalette has a new fan club of little kids games girls. The camp atmosphere is great, having young kids around, and Evalette has become good friends with Luca (Randal and Fresia's son).

God has been teaching us so many things for me about leadership and for the youth the power of great friendships.

Later all!

Good job, guys! You're teaching what you're suppose to teach, and learning what you're supposed to learn. Bravo! It's so enjoyable to follow your journey and know the details of each day.
"Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:" (Phil. 1:6)
Praise be to our God!

We look forward to reading your blog each day. We're sure you'll come home with many stories/experiences to tell us. Take every opportunity you get to bless and to learn - language, cooking, dancing, etc. Adelante y Dios les bendiga! (Moni - Gio's team is doing well in Italy.)

Sounds like so much fun!! Thanks for making some notes for the Moms about your health and taking your pills. I am assuming that Lauren you took your pills too. Continued blessings on your incredible journey.
